Gorgeous spaces for photos

Both indoors and out for those rainy wedding days

The light inside The Guildhall is just a dream for photographs. The original old windows let in just the right amount to get some absolutely gorgeous portraits. This is just perfect for when the weather isn’t on our side on the day. But if you’re lucky enough to have a lovely sunny day, the little cobbled streets around The Guildhall will make for some equally stunning wedding photos.

Truely unique historical space

The Guildhalls timber frame is one of the best-preserved of its kind in the whole country. It’s actually the oldest building still standing in Leicester, dating back over 600 years. It’s even believed to have had Shakespeare perform here once.

a quiet little space within the city

Located in the centre of Leicester City, there’s a wealth of choices for a reception venue after the wedding, wether it be a small pub do you’re after, or a more grand sit down meal, the city has a a huge wealth of choices all within walking distance of The Guildhall. Although being in the city centre, you’d expect the outside spaces to be noisy, the courtyard in The Guildhall is a little retreat from the bustle of the City, perfect for your canapés and photos with your friends and family.
